The announcement is an update to the PHH Mortgage Seller Guide (“Guide”). The requirements contained herein and in previous announcements are incorporated into the Guide, and they are considered a part of and supplement the Guide.
On June 17
th, President Biden signed into law legislation that established June 19
th as the federal holiday known as Juneteenth National Independence Day.
All applicable rescission and waiting periods should be reviewed to ensure that they meet the legal requirements of considering this new federal holiday.
