Announcement - Credit Policy Updates – FHA NPRA

In accordance with FHA Mortgagee Letter2025-09, PHH Mortgage will continue to allow Non-Permanent Resident Aliens for FHA-insured loans with a Case Number Assignment date prior to May 25, 2025. For FHA-insured loans with a Case Assignment date on or after May 25, 2025, the following changes will apply:
  • All borrowers holding a Non-Permanent Resident Alien residency status will be ineligible for FHA Financing; and
  • Only US Citizens and Permanent Resident Aliens will be eligible for FHA Financing.
