Announcement: ACP Notification

Freddie Mac Bulletin 2021-29 requires Sellers to provide notification of borrowers who participate in an Address Confidentiality Program (ACP).  Address Confidentiality Programs provide protection to victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, or other crimes by permitting the use of a substitute mailing address.  Participants in the program may use the substitute mailing address for all correspondence related to their loan.

In response to this requirement, PHH Mortgage has created an email address for Sellers to utilize if a borrower(s) is in a state-sponsored ACP. Sellers should send a secure email to PHHCL_ACP@PHHMortgage.com prior to purchase or at the latest, within 3 business days of the purchase date of the loan.
The email must include:

  1. PHH loan number
  2. Borrower name
  3. Borrower’s ACP mailing address (including, when applicable, any lot number or required uniquely identifiable number).

This requirement is effective immediately.
